--Week-Long Events Highlight Different Aspects of Services to Community and Thank Others

HEMSI observed National Emergency Medical Services Week May 17-21 with multiple activities.  Beginning with Employee Appreciation Night at the Huntsville Stars on Monday, HEMSI then highlighted services at UAH for area students at Drinking Water Festival, visited Sparkman High School to see a demonstration by first students to complete the EMT dual enrollment training class, showed appreciation to firefighters and other fellow first responders with the annual Barbeque Fest, and participated in Career Day at Rainbow elementary to showcase careers in EMS occupations.
